Team USA 4×100 Advances to Finals at IAAF World Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. –Team USA’s 4×100-meter relay advanced to the finals at the 2007 IAAF World Championships in Osaka, Japan. Former Hog and Fayetteville native Wallace Spearmon ran the second leg for Team USA.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Tyson Gay completed a successful sprint double (100 meters and 200 meters) at the 2007 IAAF World Championships in Osaka, Japan. Former Hog and Fayetteville native Wallace Spearmon also earned a medal in the 200-meter finals.

Hogs Host Troy in Season Opener Saturday Night

Arkansas opens the 2007 season with a matchup against the Troy University Trojans at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Sat., Sept 1 at 6 p.m. The Razorbacks and Trojans will meet for the second time in school history. Arkansas won at the War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Ark. in 2002 (23-0) as the two teams battled for the first time.
