Mascall Set for Qualifying Action at All-American

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas netter Colin Mascall will take on Hicham Laalej, a sophomore from Stetson University, in the first round of the qualifying bracket at the 2007 Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships. The draw for the qualifying rounds was released Sunday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Arkansas Eighth After Day One at Fighting Irish Classic

Notre Dame, Ind. – The Razorback golf team sits in eighth place after the first round Sunday at the Fighting Irish Gridiron Golf Classic being played on the par-70, 7,011-yard Warren Golf Course. Arkansas carded an opening-round 20-over-par 300. On the individual leaderboard, sophomore David Lingmerth is the top UA golfer heading into the second round.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas scored on seven of its nine first-half possessions, including the first five, to put away the North Texas Mean Green early in a 66-7 victory Saturday at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The win snapped a two-game skid for the Hogs.

Razorback Golfers Compete at Fighting Irish Classic

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s golf team will travel to Notre Dame, Ind., to participate in the Fighting Irish Gridiron Golf Classic. The UA lineup will consist of Barrett Lais, Andrew Landry, David Lingmerth, Allen McFerran and Jason Turner. The Razorbacks will be one of twelve teams teeing off Sunday at 7:30 a.m. CT on the par-70, 7,011-yard Warren Golf Course.

No. 5 Hogs Third at Cowboy Jamboree

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – No. 5 Arkansas cross country finished third with a score of 73 at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree, Saturday morning, in Stillwater, Okla. Scott MacPherson was the Hogs’ top finisher for the second-straight race.

Razorback Tennis Sends Three to ITA All-American

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Three members of the Arkansas men’s tennis team will compete at the 2007 Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships hosted by the University of Tulsa at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. Junior Blake Strode, senior Collin Mascall and sophomore Dmitry Lebedev will make their season debuts as they represent the Razorbacks at the prestigious event.

Razorbacks Set for UNT After Thursday Practice

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Razorback football team completed its game-week preparations on the practice fields Thursday during a 60-minute workout. Among other things, the Hogs worked on special-teams and two-minute situations. Head coach Houston Nutt called it a good day of concentration for the players and said Arkansas is ready to get back on the field.

Hogs Focus on Details During Wednesday Practice

Reynolds Razorback Stadium Wednesday as it prepared for its next game against the University of North Texas. Head coach Houston Nutt is stressing the importance of paying attention to details to the Razorbacks.

Hogs Look to Rebound Against North Texas

Arkansas will host North Texas, Sat., Sept. 29, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. from Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. It will be the ninth meeting between the two teams. The Razorbacks hold an 8-0 lead in the series against the Mean Green.
