Preparation for South Carolina Continues at Wednesday Practice

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas football continued preparations for the South Carolina game with a 90-minute practice in shorts and shells on the practice fields just south of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Wednesday.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas’ Bedrock backfield of Darren McFadden and Felix Jones asked the nation to help them pick their Halloween costumes and after almost 5,000 votes were cast the winning costumes were Fred Flintstone (Darren) and Barney Rubble (Felix).

Former Razorback Football Players to Honor Coach Broyles with Fish Fry

       FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Former Razorbacks that played for former Arkansas head football coach and current athletic director Frank Broyles will honor their former coach this Friday at 6 p.m. with a fish fry at in the east stadium club of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The official program will begin at approximately 7:15 p.m.

Landry Grabs Third Top-Ten Finish of the Season

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Andrew Landry finished tied for ninth on the individual leaderboard Tuesday at the UNCG Bridgestone Collegiate Championship in Greensboro, N.C. The junior fired a final-round 71 to finish the event with a one-under-par 215. The top-ten finish was Landry’s third of the season and 12th in his Razorback career.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – With four Southeastern Conference games remaining on its 2007 schedule, the Arkansas football team took to the practice fields Tuesday in preparation for South Carolina, the first of a tough four-game stretch. Head coach Houston Nutt thought the practice was a good way to start the week.

Razorbacks in 12th After Day One at Bridgestone

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s golf team finished Monday’s first and second rounds of the UNCG Bridgestone Collegiate Championship in 12th place. The Razorbacks shot a 16-over-par 592 at the Forest Oak Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. After struggling in the first round with a 16-over 304 team score, Arkansas fired an even-par 288 in the second round.

UA Golf Faces Tough Field at Bridgestone Collegiate

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s golf team will tee off at the UNCG Bridgestone Collegiate Championship Monday in Greensboro, N.C. The Razorbacks will be one of 10 team ranked in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index Top 50  competing at the event. This will be Arkansas’ final event on the fall schedule.
