     FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas is on the road again this week as the Razorbacks travel to Tuscaloosa for a 7:05 p.m. game at Alabama on Wednesday. The game is being televised by Raycom Sports. Ticket Increase Needed to Defray Escalating Expenses and Increase Funding for Razorback Student-Athletes

         FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas will raise the price of its general admission football ticket to $45 next season in an effort to keep pace with the escalating costs associated with the operation of its 19 sports benefitting more than 450 student-athletes, Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Jeff Long announced on Monday.  General admission ticket prices for conference games have not increased since 2004.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 62 Arkansas men's tennis team bounced back from a loss the previous night to defeat the University of Portland, 5-2, Sunday in Seattle. The Razorbacks (7-4) swept the doubles point and won matches at four of the six singles positions against the Pilots. Arkansas' seven wins matches the team's total from the 2007 season.

     FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – For the third-straight day the Arkansas baseball team fell behind early to Horizon League favorite Wright State but the outcome was the same as the Diamond Hogs completed the sweep with a 7-3 win at Baum Stadium.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 62 Arkansas men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to the 27th-ranked University of Washington Saturday at the Nordstrom Tennis Center in Seattle. The Razorbacks' lone team point came at the No. 6 singles position by sophomore Dmitry Lebedev.

Arkansas Golfers Finish Tied for Eighth at Burns Intercollegiate

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Andrew Landry and David Lingmerth tied with five other golfers for tenth place as the Razorback golf team finished in a tie for eighth place at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate in Schofield Barracks, Oahu. The UA golfers carded carded a final-round 282 to complete the event at 17-under-par.

Keuchel and Wilkins Carry Diamond Hogs to Season-Opening Win

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas baseball team fell behind early in the 2008 season opener but timely hitting and a strong-bullpen outing by Dallas Keuchel rallied the Razorbacks to a 9-4 win in front of 681 fans at Baum Stadium.

Hog Tennis Heads to Seattle for the Weekend

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 62 Razorback tennis team will face No. 27 Washington (5-4) and Portland (4-2) this weekend in Seattle. Arkansas earned its first national ranking since February 2007 following its 4-3 upset over then-No. 33 Oklahoma. UA will take on the Huskies Saturday at the Nordstrom Tennis Center at 7 p.m. CT and return Sunday to play Portland at 12 p.m. CT.

Razorback Golf in Ninth Place After Round Two

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Razorback golf team posted a nine-under-par 279 in the second round of the John A. Burns Intercollegiate in Schofield Barracks, Oahu. After two rounds of play, Arkansas is 11-under-par and sits in ninth place at the 21-team event. Junior Andrew Landry and sophomore David LIngmerth are in 10th and 14th place, respectively, on the individual leaderboard.
